Maple Leaf Brass Band

The Maple Leaf Brass Band is a group of over thirty professional-calibre musicians based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada’s capital city. Their music has been described as “a big, glorious sound that needs no amplification.”

Steeped in the British brass band tradition, the band’s repertoire spans several centuries of music and several continents. You’ll hear pieces from many countries and styles. We feature a growing collection of Canadian works, many written expressly for the band by resident band-member composers.

South West Brass Band Association

The association was set up in 1946 to promote and further the interest of brass banding throughout the Southwest and foster the fellowship within the movement, and it is no mean feat that the association is still strong 60 years on.

The association is very active and currently has a membership of 66 bands. During the course of the year it takes on the responsibility of sponsoring contests throughout the South West. Over the past years it has promoted very successfully education and training events in the vein of conductors workshops, full band workshops as well as individual instrumental workshops, all of which have proved to be very popular with membership bands.

Universal Brass Band

Poor quality Babel Fish Translation:

Universal the Brass volume (UBB) developed in the year 1981 from in
the 70’s-years admitted trombone choir Eschlikon. Since the year 2000
those is universal Brass volume member of the pc. Galler of blowing
music federation, and at the latest after the transfer of the
association seat after Wil the volume may itself surely call
washgenuine Wiler association.

The East Yorkshire Motor Services Brass Band

The East Yorkshire Motor Services Brass Band is one of the top brass bands in the world and is probably the most successful band ever during it’s sixteen years history. In soccer terms the Band started as a Sunday League team in 1989 and achieved promotion in almost consecutive years through the 4th, 3rd, 2nd and 1st divisions and then to the Premier league! Having been promoted to the North of England Premier League in 1996 the Band then earned the title of Northern Area Champions for a remarkable four successive years.
