Formed just in September of 2001, the group has already developed a loyal and enthusiastic following of brass band fans. The ensemble, directed by Kevin Stees, is comprised of outstanding musicians from the Shenandoah Valley, Charlottesville and Northern Virginia, including members who are school band directors, music professors, amateur musicians, and college and high school music students.
